okie dokie..updates time. friday i went for tpjc's dance fest and i would is overall is okok only, not exactly fantastic. but i was right in the predictions of the first 3 winners. hahaha. the solo guy would win. i shld haf bet with cailing. he is cool la. and queenie's item is good, the guest performance by the 2 teachers was really fantastic. it was international dance and it really OWNED the whole show that night i think. hahahaha.

then was yesterday met up with some of the c&k for die hard supposedly but no tix avaliable and so the four of us, me carene, wen jun, and perry had a very hard time deciding on wat to watch. perry wants transformer (when all of us haf already watched, so nobody bothers abt him), i want to watch invisible target (they ignored my suggestion), then wenjun wants to watch black sheep, its a movie abt a mutated sheep eating humans in short, (a poor and short cut description given by wj) and carene wants to watch knocked up (a one night stand show according to her). in the end, i tot the black sheep sounds good so i am with wj but rene wants knocked up and perry dun care. we settled this issue by the most ancient method, scissors paper stone. i lost, so it was knocked up and some sex education for me la. then cindy joined us for dinner. details of it already mentioned in cindy's blog, shall not elaborate.

though i have officially quitted but then i am still going back to work some nights this week to help out because crown dental is facing a serious shortage of nurses. so being kind, i agreed when dr tang msg me to help out a bit. hahaha. and he is serious about buying me an ipod and asked my i want black or white. but people ard me is making a big hoo haa about it and i think is better not to accept his offer. but then dr tang say is a farewell present and he praised me for being a good girl. hahaahha. but i must say i really enjoy working with him and dr grace la.

dr tang was talking to himself on monday night when i was working with him and i asked why is he talking to himself? he replied saying because he love talking to intelligent people, meaning he is praising himself intelligent. bhb leh.. then since i was the only nurse working with him i had to cover all the duties. assisting and doing counter work but i got stomache that night so after sending in his patient, i chiong to the toliet and then after a while dr tang come knocking on my toliet door because he wants me to buy bubble tea for him. always ask me to buy bubble tea and yet he is always nagging at me for drinking too much of it. i bought chocolate oreo for him he say will stain his teeth, then i buy passionfruit green tea he say sour dun like. i buy strawberry milk tea he say too sweet. finally i decided to get him the simplest pear milk tea he say not nice. so difficult to please. i anyhow buy milk tea for for dr grace she also appreciate and ask me where i bought it from. hahahaha

oh..i managed to rent why why love vcd. i started pestering the vcd shop uncle everyday for the disc since nowadays i so free until he got tired of it and gave me piority despite there are a few more pple who made reservations ahead of me. i was kind of shock when the uncle called me yesterday to inform that the vcds are back. i didn think it wld be back so soon la..anyway i rush down with me sister to rent it. then now even my mum is watching but of course she like the other male lead la.

going tpjc dance fest on the 20th. made the decision to go suddenly and got the rest to go with me. hahahaa.

met up with jiale that day for transformers and he treated me to the movie because was my long beleted birthday treat then after that met up with chee seng also for supper. long time no see. jiale looks the same though but chee seng look abit younger with his haircut. listening to them realised they already know wat they want in life, pursue their dance degree and stuff and they are leading their lives to the maxium. but here i am wasting my life away. too lazy to participate in camps cuz nobody to go with me. too lazy to exercise but to stay at hm and slack. sleep at 11 plus 12 everyday and wake up at 12pm the next day. then go ah ma for lunch come back online a bit. then is tv plus newspapers then nap abit tv again and sleep. thats wat i do now everyday.

wanna get guidebooks from andy to revise but no action done. wanna tidy up my waredrobe and clear unwanted clothes also not done. i dunno wat i am doing.

i completed my last day at crown dental today. hahaha..i am free from all the stinky mouths. but my boss doesnt believe that i am quitting and he keeps telling the other part timers that i am ust going on leave. hahaha..i shall never return after getting my pay. my boss wants me to work on july after my holiday and continue to help him after uni starts. i told him SEE HOW. even though on the whole he is super nice to me but then i think i am too lazy la..plus i dun think i can cope with schoolwork and work together.

WHY I HATE MY JOB:
-disgusting people who cant control their bloody tongue and keeps wobbling about and licking my suction. i feel like smacking their face everytime.
-stupid people with poor aiming and uses all their force to spit out the water to the sink when rinising and wet the whole dental chair, the floor and me.
-idiotic kids who ate too much before coming to see the dentist and end up puking everywhere and i got to clean up the mess.
-those people who groans and ouch during extraction despite they are given anesthetic. they are so throw face.
-kids who scream the hell out the clinic when their tooth is obviously shaking and can be pulled out using a fingers.
-people with thick lower lips and also uses their lip muscle to force back my suction. after a whole day of assisting my hands can get cramps from holding the suction. its amazing the strength of 2 hands can lose to thick lip muscle.

-i get so busy that i dun even haf the time to go toliet or have a sip of water.
-irritating patients who cannot decide when they wanna book their appointment and ended up hogging on the phone for ages and i got to attend to them even when i got tonnes of things to do and patient to discharge.

-unreasonable people who insist on seeing the doctor despite telling them appointment is full and they do not want to wait.

-booking dr tang's appointment. apparently he is damn popular and so everybody fights to see him and his appointment is full until dunno wat and pple still insist to squeeze them in.

-when dr south park is in a foul mood.

-the crown patty and denture impression material are always so hard to remove from the denture trays.

WHY I LOVE MY JOB

- i get paid at the end of every month:

-i save on transport and food

- i can sleep to 12pm when i am not working the morning shift.

-i learn alot alot about dentistry and most importantly the right way to brush my teeth. i realised for thr past 18 years i am not doing the correct thing. surprisingly, 7 out of 10 people doesnt know how to brush well and dunno wats a dental floss much less flossing.

-dr tang and dr grace always chit chat with me and makes time pass faster.

-friendly and good collegues

-free bubble tea treats from doctors.

-i overcame my fear of blood

-i get free cleaning and filling from doctors

BlAh blah black sheep

haven been blogging cuz i dunno wat to talk about seriously. felt like closing down already. pple who owns a blog but dun blog is irresponsible. so here i am back again to blog though i dun really wish to. i dunno how to blog interestingly or relate wat happen in my life everyday in words. firstly, i am too lazy or too tired to blog after a day of filled activities, i wld probably blog abt it days later which many pple haf already done so and i am juz repeating. secondly, i think i am not good in words. and thirdly, i got poor memory so i cant really recall the details after an incident happened.

was taling to jasper a while ago abt damping. he asked me the uni i going. i said i am disappointing him cuz i am going nus and not be able to join him in ntu. then he said it was surprising at all cuz he feels that i wld go for nus ultimately. he says he will be disappointed in me if i chose nus ultimately because of reputation. hahaha..of course i got to deny that. but actually that was one of the factor. haha. then it comes to damping question that we suddenly started discussing and i was irritated because i cant remember the definition and there he is correcting my concepts abt damping plus oscilliations. if i was so clever i wldn haf gotten a D la. hahahaha..

23rd inter-continental stay. sounds a bit sian now cuz we are so lost dunno wat to do. plus i couldn get thru the line to book the room and probably like wat cindy and faith say i will probably fall into coma late in the night ha.

i missed father's day yesterday cuz i dun remember the dates. i cant rememeber dates except for some like my birthday: 3rd april, christams, valentines day and certain other birthdays only. i cant remember my parents birthday is too weird a number. hahaha

now i dunno shld i stay in hostel anot. lets analyse

PROS:
1. saves time and energy
2. i want privacy
3. i want my uni life to be fun
4. i wanna try independence
5. mum dun haf to stay up late to wait for me
6. its something new and fun

CONS:
1. i am afraid of ghosts
2. i want aircon when i sleep
3. i dun want to do laundry myself, i dunno how to dry my clothes well
4. too many stuff to bring to hostel, troublesome
5. i dun think i can cope with so many ccas
6. i dunno if i will die of loneliness

Looks are everything

i went with my second sister to see the doctor today simply because her face was burnt like shit due to the over tanning she had at sentosa on sunday. when she was back that day she looked like a cooked lobster and my mum was screaming at her for getting herself tanned till like that. it was much much much worse than the last time the burn i got when i went to sentosa with the dance and at the time my mum already grumbled at me. then she suffered from 2 falls from her cheerleading training due to a useless and inexperienced guy. the her nose and the side of her face got scratches and was bleeding adding to the already very horrible sun burn she got. now her face look like batman, no joke, is really batman. the upper half of her face is black with two pink stripes on the lower cheekbones like the chinese 8 'ba' zi .reason because she was stupid enough to peel the skin thinking that peeling all the skin would make her look better, apparently it didn and it worsen the look. all these are in addition to the abrasions on her nose and face. i dunno how her tan would end up only having the upper part of the face black. then my mum was scolding like hell cuz she disfigure herself that way and ban her from sentosa. i was laughing at her and my mum say the same goes for me, no sentosa..hahahaha..anyway my sister is not a bit afraid, she got plans for zoo and SENTOSA AGAIN! her face really look like she got burned from fire such that the doc got a shock when she saw her and she couldn differentiate who is older. i say is because i look younger than my sis but she insist is because of the state that she in that the doc couldn differentiate. ha..watever. she could still draw a pic to illustrate her state now and post it on her blog. i told her to might as well take a pic and post it on friendster and mum say keep it as rememberance of wat sentosa did to her. well, she is on all sorts of medicaton now with 2 days of mc.

and i am infected by her cough now.
i am going ntu's welcome party with joanne. a new made friend at crown dental who happen to be also admitted to the same course. she's is from mj and i think she is rather pretty with big eyes. whether she is taken anot i am not sure.
got to find a time to go collect cheque and return the polo tee. i probably cant make it at nights since i am mostly down for work recently so ii got to go alone or probably get someone avaliable to go with me. see how.

heal the pain and catch the train

my head is aching from the bruise. it happened on sunday morning. i was working with dr southpark that day and i tend to be very kan jong whenever i work with him i dunno why. i am scared of him actually. it so happened that there wasnt enough manpower that day and so everything was in a mess. i was suppose to knock off at 1pm that day since from 1pm to 2pm is the doc's break. so i thought that since dr southpark always work very fast and end early i should juz risk myself getting scolded and to work with him so that i can end off early. then nearing the end of the session, it was 12.40pm we were at almost done with the 2nd last patient then i was happy means no delay, should be able to end at 1pm.
then my very smart aleck colleague go and accept another walk-in patient, somemore is extraction. i hate to assist dr southpark do extraction cuz it is likely that the tooth will break and he cannot dig the roots out and he will become hot-tempered and thats when i will kana. so after the 'supposedly' last patient, i quickly disinfect everything to see the extraction patient. as i was too kan jong the scaler tip flew off from my hands. so i quickly bend down to pick it up but as i was getting up i didn see the rod holding the dental chair above me so i juz bang my forehead on it. i ouched so loudly that dr southpark turned to look at me. i feel so pai seh and i dare not rub and somemore i am wearing the gloves but is so painful that i tot i was bleeding. then i quickly help him send in the patient, pass him the antiseptic then i rush to the pantry to rub on my head, wose still i got no mirror to chk if my head is alright. by that time the bump was formed already!!! working with dr southpark always so suay. i already avoided wearing black when working with him but suay things always happen.

then after that when out with cakes to celebrate carene's birthday when another suay thing happen. the buttion from my blouse fell off. it was a new blouse mind you. but actually before i went out i knew the button wasnt secure..but i tot i wun be so unlucky la. who knows. then i accidentally caused carene to lose her toenail on her birthaday. then i bang my butt against the escalator railings. wa lao. all these in a day can!!

the good thing is i received nus letter. but i've decided on ntu. CINDY!!!! pls hurry up receive the letter so that we can apply for hostel!!! if not i wld haf to take train to boon lay everyday..sian..i help u pray ok..hahaha

Blow my anger to your face

why do i have to wait for the whole day each time for ur call. cant u juz sms promptly and save me the trouble of checking my phone every half an hour!!!!!!!

and my job is getting on my nerves. i am suffering from backaches and protruding veins from my legs. and i smell like the disinfecting solution everytime i end my work. and my boss can still tell me to haf dinner with friends straight after work with that horrible smell. wat kind of dinner is it when i can leave only after 9pm!!! and i am forced to work the whole day for him today despite me lying that i got an important date with my boyfriend because i so desperately wanted to go home. and i got to lie that tomorrow is my grandma birthday so that i can save myself from working. but still he doesnt let me off and insists i work the morning shift tomorrow. so there goes my sleep again. and i am now having serious headache due to the lack of sleep and the intense concentration needed when working with him. he dumps me alone in the clinic to clear up all the mess and all he does is take the money from me and say byebye!!! all this is for $7 per hour!!!!! now i am so hungry now also because of him. i explain why. i had my lunch at 1.30pm and came back at 2pm to work. my lunch break was suppose to be 1hr but he delayed the appointment so i've got no choice. my dinner is supposed to be at 5pm but he told me to go at 4pm today instead because he needs me to help him deposit his 7 thousand dollars cheque to his account. then i cant eat cause my lunch wasnt digested. so i had cupcorn instead. so now i am back home so hungry that i got to trouble myself to cook instant noodles.

i've got a weird diet. i cant eat much during proper meals like my dinner and then i ended getting hungry all over when it reaches 10pm. this is especially so when i work night shift. after reaching home bath and everything watch tv abt 10 o clock. thats when i get hungry. i will start looking for food but then i will usually stop myself cuz eating 3 hrs before sleep makes a person fat. lazy people like me don't exercise so in order not to put on weight, i eat less.

how nice it would be if i got chu qian yi ding xo sauce noodle. ha
