i completed my last day at crown dental today. hahaha..i am free from all the stinky mouths. but my boss doesnt believe that i am quitting and he keeps telling the other part timers that i am ust going on leave. hahaha..i shall never return after getting my pay. my boss wants me to work on july after my holiday and continue to help him after uni starts. i told him SEE HOW. even though on the whole he is super nice to me but then i think i am too lazy la..plus i dun think i can cope with schoolwork and work together.
WHY I HATE MY JOB:
-disgusting people who cant control their bloody tongue and keeps wobbling about and licking my suction. i feel like smacking their face everytime.
-stupid people with poor aiming and uses all their force to spit out the water to the sink when rinising and wet the whole dental chair, the floor and me.
-idiotic kids who ate too much before coming to see the dentist and end up puking everywhere and i got to clean up the mess.
-those people who groans and ouch during extraction despite they are given anesthetic. they are so throw face.
-kids who scream the hell out the clinic when their tooth is obviously shaking and can be pulled out using a fingers.
-people with thick lower lips and also uses their lip muscle to force back my suction. after a whole day of assisting my hands can get cramps from holding the suction. its amazing the strength of 2 hands can lose to thick lip muscle.
-i get so busy that i dun even haf the time to go toliet or have a sip of water.
-irritating patients who cannot decide when they wanna book their appointment and ended up hogging on the phone for ages and i got to attend to them even when i got tonnes of things to do and patient to discharge.
-unreasonable people who insist on seeing the doctor despite telling them appointment is full and they do not want to wait.
-booking dr tang's appointment. apparently he is damn popular and so everybody fights to see him and his appointment is full until dunno wat and pple still insist to squeeze them in.
-when dr south park is in a foul mood.
-the crown patty and denture impression material are always so hard to remove from the denture trays.
WHY I LOVE MY JOB
- i get paid at the end of every month:
-i save on transport and food
- i can sleep to 12pm when i am not working the morning shift.
-i learn alot alot about dentistry and most importantly the right way to brush my teeth. i realised for thr past 18 years i am not doing the correct thing. surprisingly, 7 out of 10 people doesnt know how to brush well and dunno wats a dental floss much less flossing.
-dr tang and dr grace always chit chat with me and makes time pass faster.
-friendly and good collegues
-free bubble tea treats from doctors.
-i overcame my fear of blood
-i get free cleaning and filling from doctors
